  1. Hey guys, is there a way to get my sidebar on the left in the Cutline theme? Otherwise, your advice won’t work on my regular Cutline theme. Thanks!

  2. Lawton,

You would have to change the CSS for the following div elements:

    • #content — floated to the right
    • #sidebar — floated to the left
  3. Ditto on the point above about this episode being helpful. It reminded me of a number of things I need to keep in mind on my sites. Looking forward to keeping an eye on future episodes.

  4. Hey, nice work with the editing of the video, its great. i found usefull , the last part about the keywords, specially the part where the text was highlighted.

It help to get a clear mental image about, how to insert keywords into your content.

  5. Great video BUT your teaching people to break adsense TOS. With the sidebar labeled as “Helpful Ebay resources”

    Labeling Ads

Publishers may not label the ads with text other than “sponsored links” or “advertisements.” This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads.

  6. I guess you shouldn’t label your ads as “Helpful Ebay Resources” as it might risk your account to be banned.

  7. Great tutorial. Clear presentation and good illustration. I was hoping to see a bit more on tracking the ad performance with the ad channel!

  8. Nice tweaks! AdSense is great, but lately I’ve been making more with Chitika. In fact, over the last year I compiled some statistics of my earnings and I actually earned twice as much with Chitika compared to AdSense. For those of you curious about Chitika, check out this Chitika review for more info and some cool screenshots.

  10. Great post, really like the tips. Great video too. Ad placement is one of the most important things in making Adsense Revenue, but don’t forget the search traffic (organic one). Google just love it

  11. Alternatively, you can also use the widget text to display your adsense by simply putting the adsense code there. There’s also a lot of other free themes which provide column for adsense code which make it more neat and programming free.
