DeepH App – Self Care = Self-Love

Olga Pavuka DeepH

Olga Pavuka, Founder & CEO of DeepH tells us how to experience deep health with the DeepH app.

Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded DeepH.

Olga Pavuka: My friend Jelena (DeepH Co-founder Jelena Gvozdecka) came back from the Burning Man Festival with a lot of ideas and inspiration and invited me to join a spiritual shamanic healing ceremony with a Colombian Shaman she met in the desert. This incredible experience completely transformed my life, values, health, and mindset. It became the starting point for DeepH’s vision: Real values for every human being are: health, happiness, mental well-being, inner peace, and connection with nature. However, they require inner transformation, body and mind discipline, and spiritual insight.

Personal transformation can lead to a collective one through individual actions. Change starts with each and every one of us on a personal level. There is no way to create a better, healthier, happier world on a collective level without personal inner work, so we created the DeepH App,  an easy-to-use tool for self-discipline, tracking mood, activity time, smoking and drinking habits control with unique sound healing meditations we collect from all around the world from musicians and spiritual masters.

Do you have small habits that made a meaningful impact on your life and business?

Olga Pavuka: Meditation practice is a key to inner peace, productivity, and happiness. I do practice it on a regular basis.

How does DeepH market its product/services online?

Olga Pavuka: We do believe in organic growth, and most of our users come to the DeepH app through the content we publish on our web page www.deeph.io or from users’ recommendations. Happy user reviews are very important as well.

What is your hiring policy/process, and how do you retain your employees?

Olga Pavuka: This is the main challenge to find devoted and interested professionals. At the moment, we managed to create a great team of professionals that are mostly women who worked on socially impactful IT projects before and share the DeepH values.

How are you funding your growth?

Olga Pavuka: We are working on a B2C freemium subscription model. Right now, we are raising a seed round as we see that we have quite a stable business model and paying users, mostly from the US.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Olga Pavuka: There are many meditations and fitness apps. But what we offer is a complex solution. We do not expect our users to become athletes or meditate for hours. We provide real help and support to improve lifestyle through self-love and accepting the fact that “nobody is perfect”. We plan to improve our product and be useful for users. That is the key point for staying on the market. Happy users, returning to the app.

Tell us a customer success story of yours.

Olga Pavuka: I am happy to share what our users send us as feedback. Reviews like that motivate and help us move forward.

“This app is really a godsend at this point in our life when we are surrounded by stress, chaos, and everything is constantly changing (and often not in a good way). DeepH adds very well-crafted gamification to my health and wellness and motivates me to be consistent in the changes I choose to make to better my life. Everything is there and thought through: you can track your mood every day as well as your energy level, weight, calories burned, steps, how much you have been smoking and drinking, blood pressure, and much much more. It seamlessly integrates with apple’s health data, and the user experience is great. Bonus: I researched the team behind DeepH and was delighted to see that it is both women-led and women-founded! Congrats and many thanks!”

Your final thoughts?

Olga Pavuka: The pandemic has highlighted the inadequacy of existing tools for coping with mental health problems. It’s not just that a health crisis can easily disrupt access to mental health services, though we’ve definitely seen that to be true. It’s also that drugs like traditional antidepressants are, at best, only a partial solution. We offer a solution for stress reduction, mental well-being, negative thought control, and healing meditations, positive affirmation, personalized guidance on health and happiness. We do believe self-care is self-love.
