Artur Makowka, the founder and CEO of MintMe.com, tells us how they help content creators to realize their maximum potential through a new innovative way of crowdfunding.
First of all, how are you and your family doing?
Artur Makowka: I am fortunate to have my wife working with me, not only on this project called MintMe but on everything. She has been my helping hand, and I am happy to be able to share time with her and our little girl, a great advantage of working remotely.
Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded MintMe.com.
Artur Makowka: I am a UNIX engineer, but I have believed that I can be much more than that. I had already founded my web hosting services company, and although I was doing well, I still decided to get a job as a UNIX engineer. But during the interview, that question popped out “why do you want this job if you can do well with your own projects” I realized that I could succeed with my own ideas and that it was time for me to take that leap of courage to start what I had always wanted to do so I decided to dedicate myself to achieve my ultimate dream which is a platform for token creation, crowdfunding and crypto exchange.
Many people out there would like to raise money to get their projects off the ground, and many people out there are interested in being part of innovative ideas that can succeed. MintMe puts these two together, the token creators and the supporters, and gives both the possibility to earn money.
How does MintMe.com market its product/services online?
Artur Makowka: So far, we have focused all our efforts and money on the development of the platform, so we have not had any specific marketing campaigns. Our project has grown thanks to mouth-to-mouth work and the support of our community above all.
We also decided to approach investors who wanted to know about our project, and that is how we got allies who injected MintMe over 700k USD in the last quarter of 2021.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how did you get through it?
Artur Makowka: Fortunately, our company operates 100% remotely. We have a multidisciplinary team located in different parts of the world, so the pandemic did not stop our activities directly, although, as we know, it affected the world economy significantly, which also delayed, for a while, certain phases of our development.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to manage your online marketing?
Artur Makowka: Our marketing team has done a good job documenting the free tools that work best for us, including native social media planners and content management tools like Facebook business and Tweetdeck.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Artur Makowka: Although there are many competitors at the token creation level and as an exchange, we feel confident that our platform and its functions are genuinely original and different from any other service or platform out there.
