Collaborators, Not Competitors

Karla Pincott Business Woman Media

Karla Pincott of Business Woman Media tells us how they provide advice to women entrepreneurs.

First of all, how are you and your family doing?

Karla Pincott: Myself and my ‘family’ of staff and their families are all doing well.

Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded Business Woman Media.

Karla Pincott: Business Woman Media was developed to provide no-nonsense, non-fluffy advice to women entrepreneurs and careerists and is part of a network of similar companies.

How does Business Woman Media market its product/services online?

Karla Pincott: We do not have products or services. We are the product/service. We have strong word of mouth and exemplary professional networks.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how did you get through it?

Karla Pincott: It saw an increase in orders as businesses moved more online to highlight their brands, profiles, and products or services.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to manage your online marketing?

Karla Pincott: We don’t actually use specific tools or software. Our online marketing is done through content in the form of accessible advice articles designed to inform business owners and careerists.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Karla Pincott: We don’t see anybody as competitors. We see them as a network of collaborators in helping to advance small businesses and careers, and we often work with other brands towards those goals.
