Akin chaktty of Chaktty Media shares his thought with us about online marketing.
Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded Chaktty Media.
Akin chaktty: I am an entrepreneur, investor, and innovator. I’m a certified fitness trainer, but after University, I went for professional courses in business administration and management.
I founded Chaktty Media in 2005 but was unable to achieve the set goals after 5 years, so I abandoned the project and tried other projects but was not satisfied with the result.
In 2011, we picked up from where we left, and we started to work things out. I’ve established a few subsidiaries or chaktty media, and we focus on social media marketing, TV promotions, affiliate, business branding, and others.
Do you have small habits that made a meaningful impact on your life and business?
Akin chaktty: Of course, yes, I’m a crazy reader, a follower of Benjamin Franklin, Napoleon Hill, Carnegie, and other business philosophers.
I think I have a high testosterone level and can withstand pressure in the workplace.
I read a lot and prioritize healthy meals and lifestyle. I’m sure these have helped me in my career and personal life.
How does Chaktty Media market its product/services online?
Akin chaktty: I advertise my business on social media and popular websites.
I also believe in customer relations, customer satisfaction, and putting your clients first in your business.
This has helped me grow my client base, get recommendations from my clients and win their loyalty and continued partnership.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to manage your online marketing?
Akin chaktty: I use some of the top content marketing tools in different verticals, from keyword research, automation tools, email marketing, tracking tools, writing tools, etc.
I cannot start to mention the tools I use since they’re many.
However, we’ve also developed tools to help us achieve exactly what we want when we feel we cannot get that from commercial software.
What is your hiring policy/process, and how do you retain your employees?
Akin chaktty: I hire ambassadors of our company. I don’t just hire people based on their skills, communication prowess, and experience in marketing only. I prefer those that are happy to work with us and contribute positively to the development of our business and success.
While this is my policy, oftentimes, it’s difficult to groom employees into ambassadors, but when we do, I retain such employees.
How are you funding your growth?
Akin chaktty: I fund this business from other successful projects I’ve done and the dividends of my other investments.
We got some investors when we’ve just started, but unfortunately, they’re interested in our company, and we could not offer the investors a high stake in the business.
I’m also working with my employees to invest in our business.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Akin chaktty: I prefer not to mention names, but of course, yes, we have a whole lot of competitors, and I stay in the game by prioritizing customer satisfaction.
We have a high retention rate and continually work to win more clients.
We’ve already been doing that in 2022, and we’re already spending more on advertising than we’ve done in the last five years.
We’re happy the shock of the coronavirus is no more, and economies are rebalancing globally now.
Tell us a customer success story of yours.
Akin chaktty: Many factors influence business success, this is more applicable to online business, and therefore, clients don’t attribute success to one line of effort.
However, I’ve received many good testimonials from clients, and these clients only told us how effective our link-building efforts had helped their businesses to fly.
Your final thoughts?
Akin chaktty: The business environment in any part of the globe is getting more competitive
Things are changing rapidly, and as a business owner, you’d have to evolve, check your strategies, update it, and scale what’s working at any point in time.
