Javier Puebla Cid of Talentoo tells us where companies can find the best talent for their job in record time.
Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded Talentoo.
Javier Puebla Cid: I have a degree in Work Psychology and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Since then, I have more than 20 years of experience in the recruitment industry, having worked as head of recruitment in companies such as CISCO or Warner Bross Park. Talentoo emerged in 2016 when, on a trip to the US, I met a B2B recruitment model that connected companies looking for staff with a network of recruitment professionals who were in charge of finding the best candidates. After realizing that nothing similar existed in Spain, I decided to launch Talentoo on the market in January 2017, offering Spanish companies the possibility of having a network of recruitment professionals (who never pay anything and work successfully for attractive fees) to search, filter and interview the best candidates for them and present them to them through Talentoo. Moreover, choosing what they want to pay and paying only in case of success and finding your ideal candidate. Talentoo was a success from the first month and started to the bill.
Do you have small habits that made a meaningful impact on your life and business?
Javier Puebla Cid: One of the small habits I have is to start working very early in order to concentrate fully when engaging in the most important activities, so I can better reconcile them with my personal life.
How does Talentoo market its product/services online?
Javier Puebla Cid: Talentoo digitizes the HR and recruitment sector by offering a B2B platform, where we connect companies from all sectors that publish their job offers with a global network of recruitment companies and headhunters that access these offers and propose the best CVs already interviewed and filtered, to generate time savings and multiply the options of finding the ideal candidate.
In addition, the publication of offers is free. Companies choose what they want to pay and only pay if they are successful and incorporate a candidate.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to manage your online marketing?
Javier Puebla Cid: We mainly use the HubSpot tool for online marketing and as a CRM.
What is your hiring policy/process, and how do you retain your employees?
Javier Puebla Cid: Normally, we follow a procedure in which almost everyone in the team knows the profile we are going to incorporate. In this way, the profile knows most of the team, and we make sure that they are comfortable with the majority of the team. In addition, we work with a lot of flexibility and facilitate the work-life balance in order to maintain motivation.
How are you funding your growth?
Javier Puebla Cid: With our own capital and with the profits obtained from Talentoo, in addition to having implemented new services with Talentoo 360, in which we created Talentoo PREMIUM (in which a Talentoo person is responsible for supporting the client at all times, for publishing their offer, manage their CVs, filter them, etc.), Talentoo ONE (in which we put the client in contact with a specific headhunter specialized in their profile) and Talentoo RPO (in which we take care of hiring the number of recruiters for the number of hours that the client needs for their selection processes, as in an implant).
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Javier Puebla Cid: Talentoo’s competition is indirect since the usual models are usually B2C, in which companies receive CVs directly from candidates, while in our model, it is a network of recruitment professionals who search, filter, and interview candidates before uploading them to the platform.
