Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded Podvertise.fm.

Nedko M. Nedkov: I’m an experienced professional with 15+ years of global experience in marketing freelance services & project management of SEO/SEM, PR services, Media buying, Facebook & Google Ads management, B2B & LinkedIn outreaching, email marketing for marketing agencies, SMB & e-commerce, D2C, finance, health, games, media brands & startups. 

As a co-founder of an ad network, I had the chance to transform my marketing passion into web entrepreneur ventures by building a great team to develop podcast sponsorship and website advertising marketplaces startups.

Do you have small habits that made a meaningful impact on your life and business?

Nedko M. Nedkov: on finishing tasks before starting new ones, so we don’t have to juggle among tasks and lose focus.

We’re constantly optimizing the processes to simplify each user journey step.

How does Podvertise.fm market its product/services online? 

Nedko M. Nedkov: We’re marketing our Website advertising & Podcast sponsorship marketplace by SEO optimization of 1 million profiles that rank on Google.

We’re also focusing efforts on B2B marketing to onboard publishers, advertisers, and marketing agencies to collaborate in the marketplace.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to manage your online marketing?

Nedko M. Nedkov: We’re using the Vue.js framework for the platform, Google analytics, and Mouseflow for user tracking. We’re using multiple SEO tools like Ahrefs, SimilarWeb, MOZ, and Majestic for marketing. For B2B marketing, we’re using Waalaxy for Linkedin outreaching, MailShake for B2B email sequences, and SendinBlue for newsletters.

What is your hiring policy/process, and how do you retain your employees?

Nedko M. Nedkov: We’re working with dedicated employees who believe in the company’s vision to become the leader in Podcast Sponsorships and Advertising Marketplaces. We’ve built a team that always invests the extra mile efforts to deliver the next version of products for global market usage.

How are you funding your growth?

Nedko M. Nedkov: We’re a bootstrapping self-funded company. We’re investing mainly into SEO & B2B marketing efforts to keep the growth month over month.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Nedko M. Nedkov: Podcorn.com, Advertisecast.com – We have a unique media planner with million podcasts to browse through. Then, we’re onboarding podcasts to list their ad offering directly in the marketplace, so we create the Fiverr for podcast sponsorships: Podvertise.fm is a peer2peer podcast sponsorships advertising marketplace helping brands, influencer agencies, and podcast hosts to build ROI partnerships.

Nedko M. Nedkov: We’ve had both publishers and advertisers who’ve found each other through our platform without our assistance. This is the most powerful feature of our marketplace – to connect both sides to build long-term partnerships.
