Nikhil Verma, VP-Business Development of OnGraph Technologies tells us about the mobile app and web development.

First of all, how are you and your family doing? 

Nikhil Verma: We’re fantastic and getting better every day. Thanks for asking. 

Tell us about you, your career, and how did you join OnGraph Technologies.

Nikhil Verma: OnGraph was founded in 2007 by four people, including our CEO, Mr. Nitin Gupta. The company got registered in 2008. Now, it has grown into a family of 250+ employees and has been expanded to two cities; Noida and Jaipur. We have a sister company named Mall91.

I am working with OnGraph as VP-Business Development. I joined the company back in 2012. When I joined the company, it had 9 employees. I was the one who started the BD Department from scratch in OnGraph. Rest is history!

How does OnGraph Technologies market its product/services online? 

Nikhil Verma: We have a marketing department to promote our products and services online. Marketing is divided into two teams Digital Marketing(DM) and Business Development(BD). 

The DM team executes and manages social media platforms, SEO, and content. The BD team handles Upwork, LinkedIn, Email Marketing, and other online bidding websites to market products and services. 

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your business, and how did you get through it?

Nikhil Verma: The effect of Covid-19 was worse than one could have imagined. To meet the challenges posed by the pandemic, we had to react in agile and decisive ways. Though we were working remotely, every team had been so active that our business didn’t get affected. We even were able to land more business for the company. 

We did not compromise with quality, time-to-market, and consistency even during the difficult times. 

As the number of Covid-19 cases has significantly dropped and things are getting normal, we have resumed our work from the office with fully vaccinated staff and employees. 

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to manage your online marketing?

Nikhil Verma: We use GoogleAds, Canva, Buzzsumo, WordPress CMS, Mailchimp, Ahrefs, SEM Rush, Moz, etc., to reach the target audience.

For internal communication and management, we are using GreytHR from Zoho. Along with our own developed tool called GetZyk. 

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Nikhil Verma: OnGraph competes with no one. We, at OnGraph, run our own race. We do not desire to play the game of being better than anyone in any way, shape, or form. We just aim to improve, to be better than yesterday. 

We follow a simple mantra; “To get ahead of the game, you have to stay ahead of the game.”

Your final thoughts?

Nikhil Verma: So, this was all about the ways and efforts we at OnGraph followed to manage things effectively at work during and post COVID-19. I hope that this interview serves as an inspiration to people out there and acts as a soothing relief in the face of this threatening pandemic.
